>I (personally) would buy a package with the battery plus rather than this. None of the batteries last as long as advertised and the true 35-39 minutes of the plus is worth it to me.
>I would get the RC N1/N2 like this package has rather than the remote with the integrated screen. I care about waypoint flight and 3rd party software. The API has only been released for the Mini Pro 3 with the RC N1 and may never get supported by anything else. After living with it, I like a bigger screen anyway. The 4 Pro does support waypoint flight but not the API.

Do you know how the regulations are for using the mini 4 in Europe? I am taking a 2.5-month trip to Europe (Holand, Germany, Danmark, Norway, France, and Spain). The info online is not very helpful.

Do any requirements you need online before you go, if possible. Take any test in a country that offers it in English unless you speak a local language native.

I have read that to fly in the EU, the easiest category is c0 (under 249g) and the drone must be marked as such and also the CE mark. Are DJI drones sold in the US comply with these markings? I cannot look at mine since it is from before the EU class markings were defined.
Here's a summary of some rules:

You can fly A1 and A3. Up to 120m. You have to register 1st EU country you use the drone.

I think you can do the regististration through Ireland in English since they are EU.
I doubt there would be questions later since do not plan to go there. If so, I'd just tell them that I had initially planned to Ireland first and had a change of iteniary, why would they care.
Make sure you label the drone with reg number issued. I am still fuzzy on any test though, if there is a test needed to fly C0, recreational in A1-A3?
Let us know how it goes.

I think you're right. If you think about it, why would they care if you registered in Ireland or France.

The remote with screen does look good. If the remote doesn't have a screen can the same view be watched live on say a smartphone? Any accessories that make this easy? I don't mind decoupling components of an integrated system in principle.
Any other reasons to go for 4 Pro instead of 3 Pro ? When making such a big purchase, I'd like to future-proof it a bit.

For the N1 and N2 controller, it is required that you connect a cellphone to the controller via the supplied cable to control the suas.
