First time poster so go easy on me. This is for the M18 Fuel Grinder with the variable speed & SLIDE switch. Some people (like me) prefer the slide over paddle. To get this price, you must select the OTHER grinder as your free tool along with this grinder (and then obviously return the one you don't want). Well damn I just got the paddle version just a few days ago from the other deal. I have a corded grinder with the slide switch and I prefer that style aa well. I already marked it all up nice and ugly with nail polish too. Oh well, I dont hardly ever have use for a grinder anyway but I cant pass up a decent deal....

Same. I literally just picked up the 2888-20 this morning from another deal that was available yesterday ($125). I can finally use wire brushes without sending wires flying into orbit!

FWIW, as another poster already mentioned, this 2889-20 is the 'slide switch' version and the 2888-20 is the paddle switch version.

Why can't they make the flathead grinder with variable speed I do wonder though.

Honda s2000 upper control arm mounts pulling away sure could use the feature for wire wheeling the ecoating preparing for welding
