I lost interest in this after about 10 hours. It's very boring. The map is very congested and you end up running into restricted areas and getting into fights, when you're just trying to get to your destination. You're also very often punished for killing. Almost every time you kill someone, there's a civilian around to see it, which raises your wanted level, and then you have to go rip down posters or bribe a guy. This game really wants you to do nothing but stealth. Sometimes you just want to throw down, but then you get an invincible bounty hunter (at least nearly invincible) after you if you do that too much (which isn't much). The traversal is also some of the worst the series has ever had. I was constantly getting stuck on objects, and the character would jump to the wrong thing all the time, or not grab onto something that clearly should have been grab-able (not a word, I know). I traded this in in a week.

I'm a fan of Assasins creed because of its huge world and lot of missions to complete. But AC mirage is a shorter version and is not worth paying in full. It could've been a DLC for Valhalla instead of releasing as standalone.
That's kind of annoying. I usually run around like a bull in a china shop in AC games
Yeah. There have always been times in AC games where you accidentally run into restricted areas, but this is on a different level, because of how small the map is. It's a pain in this game.
This game sucks. The characters are boring. The story is non existent. There's no music or atmosphere. Combat is completely broken and the protagonist fights like an elderly man. Waste of my $25.

As a big fan of the series, this is probably the worst game ive played.
I love Assassins Creed Ezio series but hate Odyssey and Valhalla because of crazy grinding. Is Mirage similar to Ezio or Valhalla ?
I love oddyssey cause of the story line. But dlc really ruined it. Made no sence. I hated valhalla because i couldint really assasinate, and thats like one of the core of assasine creed. You can skip this one tho. Mirage is bad. And really short game too.

You could pick one based on what setting is appealing to you. Origins is pretty good, but marks a shift to RPG mechanics. Witcher 3 influence is apparent, but it is a good game and you can get it really cheap these days. If you like Egypt, it would be a good entry into the series.
Ezio trilogy is a classic but might feel a bit dated. Black Flag is also very good, but not a typical AC title, more of a pirate game, but definitely worth playing. And Unity is pretty good if you prefer the classic game play and parkour mechanics but in a somewhat modern title.

This is a good description of the series. If you are looking for actual assassinations as part of the series, the last one was Syndicate. I would also recommend Rogue. The series took a turn after that with Origin, Odyssey and Valhalla as they switched to typical collision targeting away from fixed motion capture animation in the fighting/battles.
>you end up running into restricted areas and getting into fights
This is standard in most of the series. The point is to sneak around or stealth kill so you aren't detected and don't get into fights.

If you're caught. The point is to not get caught. I finished the game without paying to have my wanted level lowered. It would go down eventually and it's not even a big deal during the game. Run, hide, or kill the pursuers.
Lmao so you're saying a trained assassin should get pwned by a lackey low level guard on a normal difficulty... For anyone reading who wants to have FUN with their GAMES, just play the Ezio games and maaybe Unity if you're on a high end console or PC to get 60fps. Ezio is a badass and is a load of fun to play as. Mirage is a shitty Prince of Persia/AC1 mashup.
