What is the unlock policy? Can we just buy the phone?
Boost has 12 month unlock policy.
You can get a Galaxy a15 from Total by Verizon for only $50 (cost of one month service) plus tax plus cost of line to transfer ($3 from google voice). It will unlock after 60 days automatically even f you dont buy a plan for the 2nd month. https://www.totalbyverizon.com/sm...5g-prepaid

The SOC is similar to the previous A14 5G, same cpu cores and gpu....I think they just added some stuff like support for higher mp camera and call it new.
Might not want to get 4gb RAM version, always seem to only have 1gb available despite debloat.
The included Samsung "Clock" seem to miss or delay alarms probably due to 4gb(not sure) despite changing all settings that I could think of (Put in "Never Sleep" apps, remove it from the list of battery "Optimized apps", Added to exclusion from maintenance when ram cleaning, "Lock" on the recent apps, "Game Booster" not to close app when ram low....Didn't happen with my a54 with 6gb ram.
Ram Plus increases the chances of alarms working but you will still miss alarms so I wouldn't trust it as a daily.
Ram Plus doesn't keep apps open anyways, there is something closing the apps still...not sure what is it.
Another problem is the audio is trash due to 1 speaker and you need 2 speaker to activate Atmos, a54 audio is only slightly better sounding but you can turn on Atmos on it and sounds much better.
I got this a15 5g cuz my a54 was heating too much I though it was gonna burn something so I got rid of it.
This is surprisingly do well in same heavy games with a54, the differences is that you get lower graphcis options but its not a toaster.
Not compatible with Fortnite officially but I use Aptoid to install Fortntie and test it but I don't really play Fortnite anymore but its good to know its as stuttery as the higher priced a54.
They both stutters about the same even browsing.
I tried PS2 emulation (Aethersx2) Resident Evil 4 I can run 60fps with slight dips but only at 1x resolution, anything higher and you can feel the stutter...still haven't tried much but there are videos on youtube and seems to be ok for ps2 emulation at 1x res.
