I first used the first 50% off promo code for ALDI on DD 3 days ago SOFRESH1.
Today, I scheduled an order for tomorrow.I had to make a small modification to the order to change an item. It doesn't allow you to modify the cart for whatever reason but allows you to add items. So I had to cancel the order and asked why I was cancelling and I hit the button that said Because I want to modify the order.
So I cancelled and modified the order by substituing one small item for another. However, I didn't realize that once you cancel an order with DD using a promo code, the promo code will no longer work even though it was never used. I contacted Customer Support in chat and that's what they told me that once I used a promo, it can't be used again. I told him I cancelled the order so it was never used. . So now, SOFRESH2 as well as SOFRESH3 will not work for me simply because I cancelled an order to make a modification 2 minutes later. Makes no sense

is there a quick way to find out if im eligible for these doordash promos, other than adding items to cart typing in promo at checkout?
Not that I've seen. It's really annoying. There's usually an order minimum so I'll go to the Aldi page in this case and just add 15 of whatever the first item is to my cart. As if I need that much bacon.

FYI if you're targeted for these promos you need to use them immediately. DD actually "untargets" you for promos sometimes within an hour of giving you the banner ad for the promo in their app. I got so fed up of this that I actually stopped using doordash. They banned me from using promos after I used dozens of 50% off codes for expensive restaurants then 60% off a $90 order from dashmart.

When I told him my issue, his response was "Read the terms and conditions", and "once a promo code is used, it can't be used again". I kept telling him that the promo code was never used. Then he concludes with "No further compensation will be offered.". What compensation? I wasn't asking for money, I was just asking to be able to use a promo code that I had access to just a few minutes ago. Their CS made me feel like I was trying to scam them.
