We are writing to let you know that BlendJet Inc. is voluntarily recalling certain BlendJet 2 portable blenders.

We have determined that the bases in certain older blenders can overheat or catch fire, and the blades can break, posing fire and laceration hazards to consumers. BlendJet 2 units subject to this recall were distributed from approximately October 2020 through August 2023.

BlendJet has voluntarily undertaken this recall effort and we strongly encourage you to participate. We are working with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) as a partner in this process. Our records indicate that you may have purchased a blender covered by this recall.




Customers who have a recalled BlendJet 2 should immediately stop using the blender and contact BlendJet for a free replacement base.






You can easily check if you have a recalled BlendJet 2 by entering the serial number of your unit into the "Is my BlendJet 2 Recalled?" tool located at www.blendjet.com/safetyandrecall.
Any BlendJet 2 with a serial number that begins with 5543 or a greater number is not subject to this recall, as it already features the updated base unit.





Go to www.blendjet.com/safetyandrecall and follow the steps below:
1. Click on the "BlendJet 2 Recall – December 28, 2023" bubble.
2. Click on the "Check your serial number here" link.
3. Enter your serial number in the "Serial Number Search" bar and click next.
4. Re-enter the serial number as a secondary verification check.
5. Follow the prompt – if your BlendJet 2 has been recalled, complete the registration form.

From what time period is this stock coming from? These were recalled in January:

Yeah and I'm still waiting on my replacement. They make you destroy your current model before processing your replacement. I submitted it 3 months ago and customer service said there was a delay and they should ship out in March. I still don't have it. Never buying their products again.

Got the mint color with the last deal, arrived brand new although also shipped directly in the blendjet box and nothing else. Luckily arrived intact, is not too powerful but for the price it does the job. I wouldn't have paid $50 for sure.
