Sizes and colors leave much to be desired. You might get lucky and find a size and color that matches you at 50 or 51% off. There are 759 Items on sale.

Patagonia quality is waaay better than EB, though.
Even with half off it's still too expensive.

TBH I think the quality of the garments is comparable. I have been using the same EB insulated trench for 3 years and it looks new still; and I take the train 3 days a week and have to wash fairly often. I had a patagonia down jacket and it lasted for around the same length before getting a snag and needing to be replaced (sh*t happens). I was able to buy a bonded channel jacket with the same fill power from EB for half of what Patagonia wanted & I love my new jacket (microtherm freefuse).

If you're asking for a recommendation; it kinda depends on what you need from a jacket. EB has some colors of the Glacier Peak stuff on clearance right now, but beware ANY physical exertion will make you sweat. They also have the stratustherm on clearance in some decent colors but I never tried one of them on. Additionally they have the Haven jackets that looks nice, but also haven't tried one on so I can't speak to it's quality or fit.

Warning about the stratus therm it is not very warm. You have to step it up to the first ascent line, such as microtherm or the one you mentioned. Luckily some of the colors are 60% off an already clearance price. I like blue so lucked out with an 82$ purchase.

These aren't anywhere near their best sales prices. Wait them out!

One big difference between EB and Patagonia is the warranty. It's pretty much lifetime if it breaks due to defects or poor craftsmanship. Kind of like the Lululemon guarantee.

Have you tried reading any of the product descriptions? Nearly all of their bottoms are available in 30", 32", or 34" inseams and have a "Short", "Regular", or "Long" selection when they don't immediately say the aforementioned length in the product description already.

The Mens Down Sweater Hoody for 163.99 isn't that bad of a price. I got it for around $130.00 last year. It's the updated version and it rivals the Arcteryx Cerium jacket. Great jacket in my opinion.

Which one is lifetime? EB used to be lifetime warranty but that all changed a couple years ago. One reason why I don''t buy their products anymore, and the fact the quality has taken a nose dive. Stitching is one the biggest problems with EB. I love their guide pro pants but the stitching just comes out on all the pants.

Life time warranty is very strong though. I walked into the store with a jacket that had delaminated, they couldn't fix it so they just gave me a new one no questions asked

Here you go.

Unfortunately they seem to be sold out of all clearance colors except blue (which I love bought in the jacket and vest). Also only XL and up left. This deal has been running at 60% the clearance price for quite a while though.

They don't list inseams in description or anywhere for snow pants. Regular pants list inseam is 30 or 32", they have just one inseam for all sizes? It's ridiculous clothes manufacturers create this maze around inseam lengths, it's not just Patagonia.
