If they're like Coach and Coach outlet items, Kate Spade outlet items are specifically made for the outlet and the quality is different from Kate Spade boutique items. At least with my Coach boutique vs outlet items, the stitching and lining are nicer in the boutique items (for example).

Just to add, sometimes for Coach at least, you'll find the boutique bags at outlet stores for sale if they're being discontinued.
