I got a smokin deal off Sofirn's store on Ali, for the H25S headlamp for $9.xx with a battery shipped free. I posted the deal here but for some reason it was removed by the mods. I also scored a sc18 with a battery for the same price. The deals were still available a couple days ago so it may worth a look, they had a bunch of their lights discounted. I already have the 25S but at that price I grabbed another one and same goes for the sc18
Sofirn has the best bang for your buck for headlamp and flashlights.

That's the H25S, seems to be very different from this one unless I am missing something.
I messed up with the model number, I accidently referred to the one I bought. Last night the HS20 was still listed on sale, but now its gone. I should have posted the link but I thought the mods would have deleted it as before.

BTW, the H25S is a great light for the money
No worries. Thank you! Is it usbc? Looks like it might be micro usb which is turning me away.

I saw that deal and jumped on it. Went back to see if any comments came in and the thread was deleted. I was able to get the H25S headlamp for 9 also. Thanks for the deal..
I own this, and can say it's an excellent headlight. Like just about all Sofirn products, turbo mode is rediculously bright and lasts a few minutes before it steps down to "high" when it gets too hot. It does have USB-C which is hidden underneath a screw on type cap. I kinda dislike having to unscrew the cap everytime I want to charge, but I guess that's the sacrifice for being rain proof.
As for the 2 lights, one is supposed to be a flood light, and the other a thrower, I personally can't tell the difference and looks about the same. One has a yellower tint, while the other is more like daylight.

Either way, it's the best headlamp I've owned.
Once you start using this lamp more (for work, especially), you'll realize the difference. The flood has a larger throw area and it's easier on the eyes. The spot it's more focused and brighter. Both have their particular uses, I personally use the flood function a lot in my attic or my crawl space.
I just got the wurkoss hd50, it's like this one but with a bigger battery and a red light also; I like it enough. Haven't got to use it at work at night yet though.Only occasional night shifts.
That is an insane amount of lumen for a headlamp. I paid $35 plus taxes for my Black Diamond 400 lumen spot r and it is the last headlamp you'll ever need. I love Sofirn but these crazy powers are semi useful in a flashlight not so much a headlamp which will be turned way down most of the time camping so you don't blind your friends

Can you detail the superior aspects?
(Just looking very hard for a reason not to buy this!).
Must have been removed because it wasn't an add like everything on SD these days.
They prob came from the same manufacturer
Yes, yes you do.

I use a headlamp for working on projects on a workbench. Would this one do well for that? Not using outside etc.
