There is an OpenSwim version for higher IP rating. They last for a good 3 to 4 years for frequent hour long swimming.

There is, and they're a great product, but that's arguably a different line of headphones who's target is a different market (with a different feature set). OpenRun Pro is supposed to be the flagship of the OpenRun line, with the Pro indicating a more advanced feature set, so the fact that a core component (IP rating) went backwards strikes me as odd.

The Pros have the same (rated) sweat resistancy as the OpenComm office headset.

I agree. I had a set of Open Run Pro's and they didn't last a month before sweat killed them. I returned them for a set of Open Run and they are going on two months now. I honestly can't really tell a difference in sound quality either. I think the sweat resistance of the pro is probably fine for most casual users. I live in a humid environment though and I'm a fairly serious endurance athlete.

These sounds terrible. I got this pair at Beatbuy for $99 last Black Friday. Returned it.

Works great! No issues. I have the OpenRun Pro Mini.

In addition to Teams, I've used these with Cisco Finesse soft phone for 10+ hours a day. Also no issues (although I do have to recharge [which is fast!] for a bit towards the end of the day).

Honestly wanted to like these, but I returned them. The sound on them is mediocre at best, and you have to really crank the volume past the safe mark for that. The fit is okay but, if you wear glasses, they will really start to irritate after about an hour or so. I was looking for something primarily for audiobooks (I don't love earbuds or over-ear large headphones) that would be a better option than my Monster Boomerang neck speaker, but these are worse on every front, especially sound.

I totally agree. Was in denial so long after my purchase of this and the lower tier model, because I was in the early adopter "cool club", but the blinders are off now, and ready to accept reality...

I've never muted from the headset itself. I only have Windows machines, sorry!

If you ever have to shop with wife in all kinds of grocery stores and clothes stores, and
if you ever have the need to sit with other parents of your kid's team during their practice,
If you ever have the need to drive some family members somewhere,

you want to have this.

Yes. You can. You have to press volume up & down at same time. It would have been better if it's dedicated button.

I really wanted to like these. They fit my use case perfectly. I could've put up with the mediocre sound, but they gave me bad headaches within minutes of using. I'm jealous if they work for you but they definitely aren't for everyone.
