have yet to revisit these on PC, anyone who's played these know how the ports are?
3 XXL Edition was fun for about 10 hours. Started to get real samey but the gameplay was very solid. I probably only had 'captured' about 1/4 of the main campaign's map at that point and I think I had 17% of the story done (not sure why I remember that #). I was so far off from completing that I just quit.
Note: I did get side tracked a lot and also played the major DLC stuff first so if I just stuck to the main game I probably would have gotten much farther.
This game is very GTA 3 - 5 where you start off trying to do a mission then you just decide to blow everything up in sight. 3-4 gameplay sessions can = zero advancement in the process because...SHINY OBJECT GO BOOM.
TDLR version: Lots of value for $4-6 and plays perfect on the Steam Deck. XXL version includes a jetpack which really speeds up travel around the map (you need to do that DLC first to get)
Just Cause 3 is amazing. If being Spider-Man with a wing suit sounds appealing this may be for you. It's a sandbox game in which you have to destroy bases or strategic city elements. It's pretty open ended but it's super addictive. Traversing open world games will never feel the same again, the movement is that fast and fluid.
This series is way underrated. Just Cause 3 is awesome and has incredibly beautiful locations. And I think the controls were really dialed in on 3 and the design and direction were excellent as well. Played the regular non-XXL version on PS5 all the way to platinum.

It's been a long time since I've payed the first, but 2 & 3 feel like they belong on PC.
Played 2 on a laptop from 2015 on medium settings with no problems. JC3 was one of the first I played on my current when I built it and it's a fantastic entry into the genre. WooHoo2You is correct, it's samey, but these games are like that. JC3 is probably the series peak, and a steal for tree-fiddy-nine.
Edit: Better off getting XXL version for a buck and change extra, btw. Some of the DLC missions are really great, as are the added perks.
You know it's fun when you play the game for weeks and have zero story advancement because blowing stuff up and side quests are so much fun to do. JC3 is well worth the asking price and more. The flying suit should be banned for how addicting it is.

Ports are top notch. 3 stays solid 120fps for me despite the whole world blowing up. I remember Xbox One launch, would drop under 20fps at times.
