Is this the best deal we're going to see for the 48" C3? I've been waiting for it to hit below $800. Total comes to $790 for me. Not thrilled about open box for an online TV order. And does it include the manufacturer's warranty, or just BuyDig's?

My guess is that you need to pay 100+ to get the extended warranty from allstate, as the faq states, 'Items in Used or Open-box condition sold at closeout prices are sold as-is and do not always include a warranty.'"

Yea, that's what makes me wary. Great deal if you do not mind open box. Many people report those items can come basically new. The want for warranty does make the deal on par with brand new C3's on deals that will have it's manufactuer warranty 100%. In the case you do purchase that for this item.

But the seller description states: "USA warranty included". Isn't that referring to the standard manufacturer's 1 year warranty?

I also noticed the return policy is "seller pays return shipping", so that makes this a bit more enticing since if there's anything I don't like about it, I could just ship it back for a full refund.

BuyDig IS a official LG dealer so it would seem accurate. The description of open box warranty is what makes it all conflicting. You'd want to have no doubts about things like this.

Based on last year's pricing trends, we'll see sub-$800 consistently this summer, but the pricing will be short lived & you'll have to get lucky.

Last year I waited for a clearance sale for C2 when the C3 showed up and it never happened. they just disappeared and were replaced by c3's for the same price
