American Express via Amex Offers [americanexpress.com] is offering Select American Express Cardholders: $5 Statement Credit by using your enrolled card to make a single purchase of $15 or more in-restaurant at Jersey Mike's Subs, online at jerseymikes.com [jerseymikes.com] or through the Jersey Mike's US mobile app (iOS [apple.com] or Android [google.com]) by 6/16/2024. Limit of 2 statement credits (total of $10).

Offer Terms:

Enrollment is limited
Limit 1 enrolled card per member across all American Express offer channels
Excludes locations within colleges/universities, casinos, gas stations, stadiums, train stations, airports, mall food courts, and military buildings/bases.
Not valid for gift cards and merchandise purchased online.
Limit of 2 statement credits (total of $10 back) per Card Member.

Yeah, offers normally trigger as soon as the pending charges show up. I'm use to getting a email about it shortly after the purchase. I'd avoid using the APP to purchase with jersey mikes as I think they did not code the app's purchase properly. I assume they may have a different processing code on Amex for the app vs store/website, and they probably forgot to add it to the promotion despite including it in the T&C.

I never received mine so I spoke with a AE rep and according to the rep, some Jersey Mike locations are not eligible for the rebate. I asked how can you tell which one is not and the rep did not have any further response. No more AMEX deals for me. Stick with Chase.

Amex screwed up this promo and doesn't seem like they have any desire to fix it. The only option is to keep creating cases and spamming their support until someone thinks it is a big enough issue. I message them every day or two.
