Subaru just announced that it's leasing its 2023 Solterra Premium for zero down, $241 per month for 36 months, plus tax and license.
That's a $158 reduction from the $399 per month deal that Subaru has been running on the 2023 Solterra since last year,
Mine at 100% charge gets 175 miles of range (don't turn on the climate because that knocks it down to 160 miles), dealer says they are working on a fix. But won't look at the car.
You may want to look at the Hyundai Ioniq 6. Rated for 360 mile range on a 100% charge, and Hyundai's been doing $7,500 cashback to offset the ineligibility for federal credits. And if you're really lucky, your state won't charge sales tax—NJ didn't for mine.
Too bad insurance on this would be another $200

With how much cars depreciate after 3 years, this is a good deal if you aren't committed to buying an EV in the next year or so no?
Used solterra for sale on Hertz going for around 28k. Reasonably low mileage(8000-15000 miles) but cars are exclusively on the west coast. Probably guarantees that they are gently used. Too bad I'm on the east coast.....
I dont dislike the Solterra or BZ4X but it's not worth 48-53k to me in it's current form. But I'm willing to take a chance on a used one given 23k in depreciation off new if the warranty is intact.
On these lease deals, can you prepay any/all payments, thereby avoiding the interest for the lease period?
I.e, Single-pay possible, and has any value?
And I am saying that this is the worst quarter of the past four quarters for the EV market both in the USA and worldwide and that only a fool will choose to ignore that.
Tell that to the horse and buggy when ICE took over....... Lol
EV's ain't going anywhere, but fast and more efficient..... Mark my words!
People flock to my porshe 718 gt4 rs, bone stock. Tesla isn't stock.
Stock as in non modified, I'm not sure what you mean by Tesla isn't stock? Pretty rare to have a modded Tesla, and no one cares you have a Porsche especially a stock one, it's a cool car sure but why show off something you have nothing to do with? Stock anything doesn't belong at a car show/meet anything unless it's so old you can't find them anymore.

Well thought out, just like changing batteries in a flashlight right? Clueless is right, these batteries are 500 to 1000 lbs. So would need special transfer locations, inventories of batteries, and special mechanical connection in the car so battery doesn't go flying in an accident.
CLUELESS.....
How long does it take to swap a NIO battery?
The advantage is simply time. It takes just 2min 30sec to swap a Nio's battery for a fully charged one, so the total process from arrival to departure takes roughly the same time as using a petrol pump – much quicker than the fastest battery charge.Nov 7, 2023

So you think the average person drives four hours without stopping on a regular basis?
