The value here is good, but not fantastic. Great if you really just want a small quantity, as most better deals will require a larger purchase. May be worth getting one if you are low on protein powder, to hold you off until a better deal comes along on a big bag/box/tub.
The cost/pound under $8, which would normally be a fantastic deal. But, a low percentage of protein by mass gives this protein only a good value in terms of price per gram of protein when compared to other whey blends on the community wiki of this post.
Still, a good price for a name-brand whey blend sold at many big-box chains, and a great price for such a small quantity.

Which brands offer the best value right now? I tend to try to grab MyProtein when they are on sale but when not on sale that brand is stupid expensive.
I ordered the vanilla, and this is the grossest tasting whey I've ever had. It is bitter and has a slightly corny aftertaste. Amazon will not accept the return of the opened product either. I think this issue has come up with this whey before.
