Were blessed w the great weather and water here, but mainland deals are not existent except for big box mainland stores that have locations here in Hawaii.
bucket o' grease - the picture shows a bucket of nicely breaded fried chicken.
what you get is a flimsy box with greasy chicken skin falling off.
Many years ago KFC had good chicken, but not in the past 10 years - at least not in my area Ohio.
Your memory is faulty. It's exactly the same. What's changed is that there are many other places that have surpassed KFC in terms of quality. It's the same thing that happened to McDonald's. Same stuff it's just that every other place is now 4 million times better.
Might as well eat tuna poke, its cheaper and sooo much better.
Agreed but sometimes you just want to eat fried chicken. Also, you might want to check the price of ahi in Hawaii now, it's getting very expensive as well. I think the average price of a poke bowl when I went a few months back was around $15. Ouch.

Don't agree, their quality has been on a downward slide for 20 years, and it escalated in the past 3-5 years with the labor shortage and high price of goods / democrat induced inflation

Nice little political jab at the end there. lol. I still think it's pretty much the same though. Have you also considered that in the past we could afford the breast pieces whereas now we often just go for legs/thighs? The breast pieces are always significantly better.

maybe its regional, but in NW ohio the KFCs are all garbage, same with the burger kings - i think they might have the same owners
Grocery store fried chicken is cheaper at regular price
It's funny because sometimes I'll succumb to it because it always smells SOOOO good and I'll walk around with it in my cart just sniffing the air (lol) and then I get it home and it's always so bland and I always say never again.
