You can get it along with Flower for just a dollar more
I've been gaming for decades and never considered myself big on most indie games but this game is an absolute masterpiece. Went into it blind due to all the hype it got and having played Flower (which I got for free from PS+ days and found to be amazing) and it did not disappoint. I still don't find most indie games all that great but this game is something else.
But as others have pointed out, it is very short.
Matter of opinion I suppose. I think it's a great game - just finishes way too soon. I would absolutely love to see a remake in an updated gfx engine with ray tracing.
For those who have played it on console know - imagine this game with 4K res and ray tracing and that incredible soundtrack.

Says both single player and online co-op. Can anyone suggest which way is better to play it with?
I don't want to play with some screaming middle schooler, but I also don't want to miss the co-op if it's good.
It's hard to explain but it's not a single player nor a co-op game in the sense you're thinking... it's a little of both and you really have little control of which one it ends up being but the co-op aspect definitely adds to the experience.
Regardless, you won't have anyone screaming at you since communication in this game is very non-verbal.

i played it back then, and i was left thinking - wtf is the hype about.
I tried playing this years ago on PS+. The game ended way to quickly for me as there was nothing to it and i stopped 20 minutes in. My journey ended as soon as it started, This was a very boring game, the hype makes no sense unless its the Emperors New Clothes type of situation.
As short as the game is, people including myself find it worth it at full price - so at $2, just buy it, and play it some time you have a few hours of quiet time to mindfully engage with something.

I'm very confused. So it's forced co-op, but not necessarily?

Absolutely LOVED it myself. You might want to give Inside a shot, if you haven't already. That game's ending left my jaw on the floor

It doesn't force anything, you can play the game alone but you'll run into other players in the world- whether you choose to play alone vs with someone else is entirely up to you.

Can't believe I missed this, only ever heard great things about this game. Although it probably would've been added to my dusty library of games I've really been meaning to play...

Like I said, very hard to explain.
