Picked this up yesterday, won't have time to unpack for a week or two but great deal. The 8 year batter warranty made it hard to go with any other brand/store

Is the online price of $529.99 still a good deal? I don't think the mower will fit in my car, so delivery is my only real option.
Absolutely, i now love to mow unlike before. It's much quieter, no smell of gas, cuts like a pro and even the 2.0 Ah battery is long enough to cut my front and back yard. i can fold it after i'm done and let it stand like a suitcase. saves space!! you also get an extra blade in the box plus side and back mulcher pieces. it costs me $35 minimum every time i hire someone(every 2 weeks) to cut my yard and i've done it for 6 yrs now. this mower pays for itself just after 10 months usage for me.

nope. just continue with EGO and stay in same eco system.

I got the BestBuy deal with a trimmer and a leaf blower and a 4 Ah battery for $600. I cut my grass "patch" and only used 1/4 bars. Really happy with it.

Last May there was a slickdeals for a Kobalt 21" self 80v with two 2.5 bat (one port with a quick charger) and I can't say enough about the quality and power. This is the same animal even the batteries can be used on both 👍

I have the Kobalt one too, but it was $199 and push, vs self prop. I had to RMA one of the batteries, but otherwise it's been fantastic.

I got one today and it was broken… peters out and randomly stops cutting and beeps and won't turn back on… pretty annoying to have to return it back to Costco and buy a replacement
Had the same exact issue and did a warranty claim with GW who overnighted me a new unit. New one has been fine since and zero regrets on my purchase.

How does this compare to the prior gen? The one that was recently on sale for 385 also 21" 80v.

For a larger yard and/or performance, would you stick to this model or the 25" greenworks mower from costco https://www.costco.com/Greenworks...31874.html

I ask because I ordered the 25" and it's arriving tomorrow. I could return it and pick up the 21" instead.

What do you mean by back and side mulcher pieces?

Does this thing REALLY weigh 90lbs or is that the "packaged" weight? Anyone know for sure the unit weight with the included batteries installed?

My gas push mower is just over 100lbs with a full tank and one of the draws of an electric mower would be weight reduction for mowing on slopes and maneuvering in tight areas… but if it's 90lbs with a battery in it, I feel like one of the primary reasons to get it (besides emissions/maintenance) is already negated.

yeah, I noticed that when I had to find the link. Costco quickly hides out of stock items from their in-house site search, quite annoying.
I already ordered the out of stock one and should be receiving it tomorrow. I'm looking for a general consensus if I should return it for the 21" mower that's $200 cheaper in store.
Case usage is I live on an acre and a very big front yard. I borrow my sisters ego for the exercise. I have a zero turn but I enjoy the walking.

What's the narrowest space you mow with the EGO? If it's less than 25", get the smaller mower and use the $200 toward an extra battery if necessary.

Thanks for the perspective. Heading to Costco this weekend with the 25" to return hoping the $499 is local to mine.
