Not sure about this deal, but last time with a similar promotion, once the bonus posted, I withdrew everything and closed the account the next day. Will do the same this time.

I'm keeping my $1,500 in there until the bonus is posted, just to be on the safe side.
Citi is showing my Zelle deposit from non-Citi checking as "ZELLE CREDIT". I don't see any "ACH". Will this still be considered as Enhanced Direct Deposit?

Zelle is a peer-to-peer (P2P) payment method that uses the Automated Clearing House (ACH) network to send money between US bank accounts. All Zelle payments are ACH payments, but not all ACH payments are Zelle payments.
Update on my end. I opened my account, my Zelle deposits from a different bank posted on 4/15. I decided to leave the money alone and just received my $300 this morning. Transferring it out now. Will close account on Monday.
You basically do transfers to yourself from other accounts for the initial $1500 and then setup $250/month to avoid a $5 fee or just close the account once you get the $300 bonus or before the 90 day waived fee period.
money from zelle paypal. does it mean the irs will get reported for income on $500?
do they provide virtual temporary credit card number feature for their citi checking card?

Did you have to wait to receive the debit card before you can zelle? My daughter couldn't zelle and was told she had to wait until she received the debit card.

I did not wait and made the first transaction right away after enrolling the account with Zelle. I'm nnonot sure why you need the debit card to enroll the account and receive a payment. However, when I tried to start moving the money out of the account today, it said I had to verify the debit card pin before it would allow. I did receive the debit card like monday, along with a 2nd letter with the PIN. I'm glad I didn't go with my initial reaction of shredding them both, because I figured I wouldn't need them. I will have to wait until I get home later today to start moving out the money. I say "start" because unfortunately, there is a $500 daily limit. Very low compared to the $3-5k daily limits of my other accounts. Maybe because it's so new. No idea, but still worth the total time invested.

I may have to reevaluate if it's worth it or not, lol. I tried to send the 2nd payment back to myself today in the next step for draining my account, and they blocked it. It gave me a number to call. She wanted my account number, but they also blocked my user ID, so I couldn't log in. After verifying a bunch of info, she finally removed the restrictions and I could send the next $500 payment. Unfortunately, there are no Citibank branches where I live, only Citi ATMs, which I imagine would also have daily limits. I hope I don't have to do this whole process again tomorrow and the next day.

Fixed that for you!
50% taxed rate? I'm glad you're not my accountant!
Separate question: does this offer get mentioned during the application process? Is there a promo code or anything like that?
