Scissor switches, liner adjustable backlight, charges iPad without taking up the USB C Port, glass multitouch trackpad, does not require batteries, etc.

Not "just a keyboard period."

Transforms the iPad experience, I agree completely. I really hesitated and only bought when on sale and with stackable discounts. Rock solid after three years of daily, pretty heavy, use on a 2020 12.9". This is an excellent device, way more than just a keyboard, and very high quality. I'm not an apple fan-boy, windows/linux computing primarily, Android phone, Samsung S6 tablet, but the iPad is simply wonderful and this keyboard makes it my go-to device when other compute power is not needed.
