There is an infuriating amount of literal trash in this, especially plastics. The rest is mostly mulch.

My assumption is that miracle gro licenses this out to different manufacturers regionally (I doubt they're shipping dirt cross country). If you're in the northeast, open a bag or two before you buy an entire pallet.
Yes. If you do a 1:1 mix with potting mix.
Works well for both queen size and king size

They were on clearance about 2 months ago for 60 cents a bag. I don't understand why they do that, but I scored big and bought half a pallet that was left.

Why not just get a bulk delivery made from your local garden center at this point lol. 66 bags is madness. You'd save a lot

How does this compare to the 2cuft potting soil at Costco?
The Costco one has horrible reviews if you read it on the product page

Anyone have any idea if the Scott's EarthGro Mulch goes on sale Thursday too? Typically it's 5 for $10 but I haven't seen the ad yet.

EDIT: Disregard I found a post for it on Slick Deals. Confirmed $2/bag starting Thursday.

Awesome deal. Ironically, I was planning to go to Home Depot to price match the price of $2.29 atLowes.

Isn't it a coincidence? Yeah I really do think…

Can this be used for raised bed ?

The scam of needing special soil for a raised bed. I have several and grow vegetables every season. I use regular cheap top soil for the bottom and whatever soil catches my eye at Lowe's or the local garden center. I have never used potting soil, raised bed soil etc.

The same at Lowe's is $2.29 but has buy 3 get 3 free which beats this. Unless I'm missing something.

No, on Lowe's website it states the "free" discount is priced into the $2.29. An employee said to me they charged $2.29 each bag so you can get the discount with having to get six bags.

It has a shelf life due to mold and seed sprouting inside the bags.

Yes, can be used in raised beds
This garden soil must be mixed with other soil, such as the current native soil, top soil, or peat moss, etc. Otherwise, it could kill your plants.
See the instructions in the back of the bag

Can mix this with sand and use for lawn leveling or not ?
Not if you want it to stay level. This is garden soil so it will break down And essentially disappear fairly quick. You want topsoil.
