I'm looking for a way to connect say, phones with cracked screens and connect them to a touch monitor. so I can unlock the phone for data retrieval..but I tried two different monitors like this one and they don't display on the external monitor until I unlock the phone..which defeats the purpose. Any suggestions? Has to be legal, something I can have the customer sit in front of to assist them with getting baby pictures off it, documents etc

Those touch monitors won't work for that. I hook broken phones up to my pc and use software that I won't be naming here even though it's legal. However, I can navigate through the phone using a mouse and it shows the phone display right on my monitor. Easy peasy.

Weird, never seen this happen before, but amazon says this item can be shipped to my location. I don't live in a random hard to get location either. Maybe this is normal, I just haven't ran into this before.
