Costco has the popular Apple HomePod 2nd Gen for $199.99, the lowest price new ever. This is an exceptional speaker, and if you combine 2 of them you can use as an Atmos system with your Apple TV. Which I personally use and can confirm its better than pretty much all soundbar setups under $1K.

In Store @ $199.99
This particular pic is from Carlsbad Costco, where they had at least 30 in stock from my visual.

Most likely your issue.

I don't think most people have problems playing one song. Sonos subs are filled with these comments and turns out to be network related. It's not only about the router there can also be interference in your building or other reasons.

Trust me if people could not play one song on these speakers they wouldn't sell and everyone would bash them
These work fantastic with Apple TV. Much better than my Sonos Ones. They are a no brainer if you are in the Apple ecosystem. Nice find!
Costco rep told me they're phasing these out. None left in WA State (Seattle etc).

Bought a stereo pair, networking and connectivity issues have taken hours and still not fixed. if they work, they sound really good for $400. I have yet to go a day without having to jump into forums to troubleshoot. So much of apple's rhetoric of 'it just works.' YMMV
Right. I have had the original for years and they had a lot of issues. I think some of it was Wi-Fi compatibility issues and other issues were just bugs. Fortunately they work pretty well now after I switched Wi-Fi access points and after they probably got more bugs out.

I still think they need to put Ethernet ports on these things... but it's Apple. If they did though then they'd probably get a lot fewer returns on them.

My guess is it may not like your Wi-Fi access point/router... maybe it's too far away... or maybe there is some incompatibility. Also make sure everything is updated to the latest firmware.

went into spectrum's settings, turned off hotspot and turned on UPPN on the router and working better. Using as home theater audio, works well, can control for music from my ipad but not my iphone which wont connect to speakers via airplay unlike ipad. at $400, ill deal w it...
