So this was extremely helpful. Thank you for the posters. I finally was able to get it to work. Last week I actually purchased an M3 pro MacBook Pro for myself and an M3 MacBook Air for my wife. Best Buy refused to do a price adjustment but it seemed like their representatives were Looser when price matching for new orders. So I placed two new orders, and saved around $650 total. I was debating getting the 16 GB version of the MacBook for my wife, but for her uses the $300 difference isn't worth it. I figured for $791, I could probably resell the thing in a couple years and keep most of my money if it didn't suit her. For me, the base M3 pro was not in stock so I didn't even trying price matching that one. I ended up going with the 14 inch one terabyte 12 core.

If you live somewhat near the Micro Center, check out the M2 Pro MacBook Pro instead for $1270, that is far better for basically the same price.

I want to thank OP for posting this deal. I was able to price match the 13 inch MacBook Air M3 at Best Buy in person. The price was matched to $791.99 and I used some gift cards I had laying around which made the final price $420.62.

I'm literally never buying apple again right when they do their release. I bought the 16 base model m3 pro. lol I got ripped off.

Anyone have an idea how long to wait to buy apple computers for these deals to kick in? Seems like right before may is when historically their new realm prices really begin to drop?

How I PMed BB on the Air deal from the same MicroCenter and I am 700 miles AWAY and got a local pick up order. You need to keep trying different agents

1. Opened 2 Browser windows
- 1 on Bestbuy on the one I want
- 1 on Microcenter on the one I want

Make sure you have the same exact product including the COLOR

2. Open Chat on Bestbuy Window
3. Ask them to price match
4. I pasted Bestbuy web page
5. I pasted mirocenter web page
6. I remind them it's the SAME exact product that I want to price match
7. they will ask for time to check
8. come back with offer
9 they did mess up for some reason twice so I pasted the URL twice and they finally saw the 1079 price and approved PM. They said 1349 at first.
10. They will ask for your contact then email you an INVOICE that already has delivery or pick up info already confirmed with you thru Chat
11. Check your email, click thru link and pay for the it.... once you're paid it's all done
12. Go back to chat, they will paste the order information as well in like 1 minute later.
13. Go pick it up or wait for delivery. whatever the option you selected.


My home state is WAY far way (700 miles away) from Indianapolis and they never questioned anything. Just tell them you want to order and hope the rep does not check that it's local only to Indi if that was the case.

I actually did this, now the order seems stuck. It says ready for pick up today, but has been stuck there for two hours. I called in and they said the store is waiting for inventory....which they already have. I think my switching locations borked it.

You didn't hear this from me, but I've had luck giving them a Local ZIP Code if they ask and then changing it last second before they send the invoice and they usually don't catch it.

Should have tried to sneak the shipping in before placing the order but I finally got a rep to change the pickup order to shipping but they said to contact core team to validate the change. This seems like a trap lol. Anyone get the same thing?
