I wouldn't treat this as a primary sofa but for its usage it's pretty good.
The cons are:
- It's best where the back can rest against a wall, the clips to hold up the backrest are quite weak. I haven't had a problem with mine yet but imagine the support of the wall behind has been greatly beneficial.
- it's sits quite low.

I've bought three of these over the years for Airbnbs. They're made to fit nicely into shipping boxes. They're also about as comfortable as shipping boxes.
The way everything hangs together makes it clear they're not designed to be sturdy or durable. Things will warp and bend and click and rattle and you will question whether everything will collapse underneath you, even if you only weigh 150 lbs like me.
They're extremely lightweight and easy to move, but you can feel how light they are when you sit down. Padding is minimal. Frankly I'm not sure there is any padding to speak of. You sink into the seat immediately.
No one should look to use this as a primary place to sit or lie down if you can avoid doing so. I'd even say it's bad for your health.
If you're being asked to compromise this much, to me it's hard to justify spending even $150. Maybe $75 would be closer to its true value, but even then, it leaves so much to be desired, really I'm not sure it's worth owning at any price.
Its only semi comfortable., terrible to put together, and broke in about 4 days. I dont recommend it for anyone. Luckily they let me refund it, just a HUGE pain getting it back in the box.
Yes, if that's your daily regular bed in your parent's basement.
