Is the refurbished Sonos beam gen 2 worth it at that $299 price point?
Also, Sonos has this same deal up on their ebay store. anyone have experience with all state warranty from ebay?
I see the sonos website has 1-year warranty and the ebay listing has 2-year w/allstate

It's $499 at Costco. Though it comes with $40 apple gc, or 4months pandora. And a $49 wallmount voucher + coupon for 30% off accessories.
The "Refurbs" I hear are basically brand new. Like you'd never know it was a refurb (possibly not even a refurb and actually is brand new but being clearanced but state refurb due to agreements with retail stores). Conspiracy theory but that's the rumors.
So @ $299 it's a great deal. Plus free shipping and free returns if you're not happy with it.
Really good pricing, and seconding to buy from the ebay store for the two year warranty over the one year you get from the sonos site. I got a Beam 2, which is similarly priced to the best pricing you can generally pick them up at from facebook marketplace or ebay... but with this deal, you also get a two year warranty, which you normally wouldn't get buying from individuals or smaller shops.

I got a refurbished beam 2 at this price the last time they were on sale. I've purchased many refurbished items from Sonos, and like all the others, this one was pristine out of the box.
I upgraded the beam 1 in my home theater system to it, and moved the beam 1 to a different room. It is an incremental improvement, but the atmos support is noticeable, and paired with sub and surrounds it sounds really great in my smallish media room. All in all, I'm highly satisfied with the beam 2!
Purchased a refurnished Sonos Arc the last time they had a sale and ended up returning it. The soundbar didn't include any accessories (cables) or manual. Also, one end of the soundbar was not fully sealed. It took forever to deal with Sonos' tech and customer support (also, very incompetent). Worst customer service support ever.. I finally got them to send me a replacement and again, received another bad unit with HDMI port issues.. it wouldn't connect to my tv. I ended up sending the unit back for the second time and now waiting to hear back for a full refund. What a waste of my time… just get one from Costco when it goes on sale. I have been dealing with them for over 1.5 months total.. and still waiting. so buy at your own risk.
Does anyone know if their upgrade program discount works on refurbished items?
It has for me. I've purchased the sub g3 about 2-3 months ago during their sale using a discount they offered me for a one sl which I purchased from Sonos refurbs about 2 years before.

I have both the beam g2 and the arc. Started with the beam g2, later upgraded when I could.
I think at $300, the beam g2 is pretty good and a great start if you're limited by a budget. Substantially better than a different brand I've tried . It's also substantially better than your tvs speakers. I've brought refurbished from Sonos, no problems.

I tried a refurbished SL the last time this was available and ended up returning it. The unit itself came complete and in as-new condition. It was very easy to get it setup in my Sonos system and worked with HDMI ARC flawlessly but I wasn't very impressed with the output in my use case (bare bones, no sub or satellites) so I ended up returning it.

I bought Arc, Gen 3 Sub, pair of Ones year ago (all refurbished) they look and perform like new till date.
Getting white color was very difficult with refurbished deal IMO
These prices are 25% off the refurb price.
Example: Pair of One SL Speakers $238 after $80 discount
Don't see Era or Subs at this discount, but do see One's, Beams and Arc's
