I have a bunch of TivoStream 4Ks and GoogleTV things like this (including 4K). They're great to sideload SmartTube etc., but when it comes to compare with the AppleTV (which also I have on the receiver), the performance difference for any operations (including Cast vs Airplay latency) is just too obvious and kind of painful. Some beefy HW would be great relief.
Prefer the stick/dongle form factor because easier to throw in a bag to travel vs a box/Nvidia Shield etc.
EDIT: Yeah the 4k version of this has more RAM and more processing power.
Which is perfect if you don't have a 4k TV. You can run it at 1080 P with better performance.

Like posted above you can sideload a different launcher and get rid of all the things Google thinks you have to have.

I would buy one just for security. We do use Netflix to keep the kids busy when we're busy and I'm always worried about forgetting to log out! 😂
Not all hotels have Disney+.
This would be worth it!
I keep my old Fire TV stick for Kodi but that's about all I use it for.
