Walmart has Epson EpiqVision Mini EF11 3LCD Portable Projector (Refurbished) on clearance for $211.81. Shipping is free.

Note, product must be sold/shipped by Walmart

Summary:
  1. Refurbished
  2. 1080P
  3. 1000 ANSI Lumens
  4. 3LCD (No rainbow effect like DLP projectors)
  5. Laser Projector (much longer lifespan, better colors etc)
VS EF12 (Pros):
  • Cheaper
  • Much lower input lag, more suitable for gaming (EF 12 has like 150ms input lag, makes it near impossible for gaming)
  • Much smaller and lighter
VS EF12 (Cons):
  • Worse speakers (Fine if u have external speakers)
  • No HDR10 (picture is about the same anyways)
  • No built in Android TV
  • No auto-focus
EF12 is better if you're planning to use it portable since it's a good all in one package. But personally, EF 11 has everything that EF 12 has, I'll probably connect it to chromecast + my own speakers. EF 12's incredibly high input lag makes it a deal breaker.

Condition Notes (per the product page):
  • This product may not have been manufacturer certified but has been professionally inspected, tested and cleaned by Walmart Restored Program Sellers and Suppliers
  • Fully functional product in Like New Condition. Item may have very light micro-scratches, invisible at a distance of 8-12 inches (arm's length).
  • This product may include accessories which might not be original but will be compatible and fully functional.
  • This product may be returned within 90 days for free return or replacement if you are not satisfied.
  • Battery capacity exceeds 80% capacity relative to its new equivalent
Features:
  • Stunning Picture Quality up to 150" — Delivers an immersive viewing experience for TV shows, sporting events, gaming and movies – for an amazing Full-HD picture.
  • Integrated Dual-Speaker Audio System — The internal configuration includes one speaker for high frequencies and a bass-reflex speaker dedicated to low frequencies for an outstanding audio performance.
  • True 3-Chip Projector Design — Advanced 3LCD technology displays 100% of the RGB color signal for every frame. This allows for outstanding color accuracy while maintaining excellent color brightness, without any distracting "rainbowing" or "color brightness" issues seen with other projection technologies.
  • Elegant Compact Design — Designed with simplicity in mind, the Epson EpiqVision EF11 Mini Laser Projector has a clean, compact, and modern design, allowing you to take it virtually anywhere.
  • Epson MicroLaser Array Technology — Unique multi-array laser diode technology produces an exceptional level of brightness while significantly enhancing the black density.
  • Ready for Streaming — Connect your preferred streaming solution to the built-in HDMI port and you're ready to start streaming your favorite content – easy!
  • Advanced Scene Adaptive Color Correction — Automatic scene-based color correction produces a clear and natural picture – regardless of the content being played.

I appreciate your detailed breakdown!
I was just comparing these 2 after reading the input lag comment in the ef12 thread.
Went with this one, thanks!

fyi your title shows the wrong model, ef12 instead of ef11

Had to give it a shot. I almost bought this exact projector a number of times in the past.

Does anyone know if you can connect bluetooth audio and earc? I ordered both since I couldn't make up my mind.

I'm pretty sure the bluetooth audio is only on the E12. I mean the real E12, since the thread title here is E12 even though it's linked to the E11.

EDIT:

If you want to output audio, I think the 3.5mm jack is the only option available.

Thinking about using this for movies in the yard. Is audio out handled by the 3.5mm jack good quality (or am I better off splitting it before the HDMI port)?

Is this suitable for backyard movie nights? Given the 1000lumens? Thanks!

Yes it's great for backyard theater. I used my EF12 there. As for audio just use a decent stereo bluetooth speaker with a 3.5mm cable, jack to jack. Most bluetooth speakers last at least two hours so it will last you for a movie no problem.

Note that you will need an additional mount (ELPMB65 [epson.com]) to put this on a tripod.

I know its bigger, but I would say buy the real ef12.

The EF11 doesnt have BT audio? That makes the speaker more important.

The EF12 accepts 4K input. Accepting more input resolutions is one less thing to worry about when setting up.

How fast does it turn on? My current and much older projector takes at least 20 seconds or more just for a picture to come up.

Amazing projector at an amazing price. No rbe unlike lots of others. I'd highly recommend to anyone with a light controlled space looking for a "dumb" 1080p projector.

This is an insanely good deal, I have the EF12 and this projector series is the best on the market, the ability to digitally control specifics of the image (manually move each corner) are unmatched at this price point.
