Purchased a Pixel 7 Pro 128GB -Refurbished (like brand new to me without an original box) from eBay for $341+ Tax. Pretty happy with my purchase..
Watch the refurbs. If they replace the screen with a refurb and not the official from iFixit you will likely have to replace the screen again. I had 5 refurbished screens put on my phone before I gave up and bought the official. Just good for thought.
Which seller did u buy from? Link? There are so many sellers selling for around that price or even cheaper, but just not sure the condition it is in.
I also purchased a refurbished 7 Pro. Got mine through Amazon a month ago. Looks and acts brand new. Has a 90 day return window. $326. Same listing is currently $355; the price literally changes day to day.

I've been going the refurb route for a while now. Only once have I needed to return. It's always very much ymmv, but as long as you're buying from a reputable place you should be relatively good to go.
I'm on my last Google phone. I've owned the Nexus 6P (battery issues, RMA'd), Pixel 3XL (bad USB port, RMA'd), Pixel 7 Pro (chronic carrier drops, returned) and now the Pixel 8 (OLED went haywire, repaired in a Google shop). Google made it right in every case, but I'm tired of buying phones that always have problems.

Glad you had a better experience than I did. I meant specifically for the 7 pro, there is a known problem with them regardless of who refurbished it because the originals were so defective
I have the 6. I so miss the fingerprint in the back of the phone. I am waiting for it to come back so I can replace it. The overheating on my phone is driving me nuts!
Also for those that have the older pixel like the original. You can piggie back off of them so you can take pics on your new phone then sync it to your old phone which can then upload it into Google cloud and continue to get the free cloud storage.

I thought about going the amazon refurbushed route, but then ebay has 1 year warranty meanwhile amazon does not. For refurbished products, warranty is at premium since the likelihood of something going wrong is higher in my opinion.

What's the battery health like with these refurbished ones?
Any recommendations whether to get Pixel 7 for $360 or 7a for $340?
The Pixel 7 is the better buy with the prices being so close. The Pixel 7 has a bigger screen, slimmer bezels, higher quality screen (gets brighter & better viewing angles).

5 screens? Unacceptable.
LineageOS is available officially for all Pixel models, including Pixel 8 series and Pixel Fold.
