Too bad the local Penn Station is a disaster. Ordered online the other day, had to tell 3 different people what order I was picking up, they hadn't even started my sandwich by the pickup time, and started the fries after the sandwich was done. A girl there even told me, "Yeah, sometimes it's better to go to McDonald's or some place faster." The cheese steak was okay and I like their multi grain bread, but they always take forever despite never being busy, so I rarely go there, unfortunately. If Jersey Mike's down the street had fries, I never would.

I've only had Firehouse a couple times, and we were not impressed. It was okay but probably my least favorite sandwich chain. Penn Station is much better in my opinion, but they're all s-l-o-w. Good fresh cut fries, if you're not in a hurry.

We have a chain here called Mr. Hero (their Romanburger is something special), but otherwise long sandwiches are subs, per Encyclopedia AMERICANICA. Get out of here with that hoagie nonsense and eyetalian stuff from 100 years ago, and grindrs are queer sandwiches, no? 🤣

Every time when I get to have Penn Station's subs, I am reminded by how terrible they truly are, and they are worth of these deals, which is two of them for the price of one.

Also, my closest Penn Station won't even allow me to order pick up today. What is this, Subway now???
