Microcenter is offering 'refurbished' LG OLEDs for in store pick up only. I've seen the 77 inch and 65". I will make a separate post for the 65"

They advertise an additional $85 off if you buy it with a new MicroCenter credit card.

Please go easy on me if I made any flubs in posting, this is my first deal post. Just trying to share a good deal Smilie

Anyone know what's the GreenToe accepted price for the 77" new?

I can imagine retailers accepting lower prices now that the C4 is out.

What's the difference?
From what I can tell the AUA model listed in the deal has wifi 6E instead of 5 and a Magic remote with NFS instead of a standard magic remote.

I don't understand all these refurbished "deals" on OLEDs unless they replace the display. Even if it doesn't have burn in, it could've been used heavily and might not reach its peak capabilities anymore since the tech is organic and has a limited lifespan.

From what I've seen, most refurbs other people have reported on Slickdeals from Microcenter tend to have less than a couple hundred hours of use. Likely just people who don't like their set or had some user error and returned it. I doubt much "refurbishing" actually happens. Given these sets should last for tens of thousands of hours, you should be fine.

yep, it's currently $1995... u might be able to get it lower but not likely. i got it two weeks ago for $1950 directly from BuyDig/Beach hoping they would cut me a discount if I skipped the middle man GT, but that was unsuccessful. Still not a bad price. I remember the sales guy telling me it would go up to 1995 the next day and he was right.

I mean even if the display was used heavily, Microcenter offers an extended warranty that covers screen replacements. Find burn in? Use your warranty.

GT wasn't accepting 77" A80L offers for under $2500 last week, and most retailers are pricing it at $2999. Getting a refurbished unit for $1599 is a pretty good deal in comparison, especially considering most are open-box or lightly used. And if you really don't care about integrity you could basically abuse the warranty for a better (read: new) unit for that original $1599 + the extra $279.

It's less of a deal for the 77 C3 since retailers have it available new with warranty for ~$2400 and GT was accepting offers around $1950ish within the last week (w/o warranty).. but an argument can be made.

Also for those looking-- Microcenter offers delivery options in store. Think the price for delivery increases for every 20 miles further away the delivery address is

Microcenter warranty does not cover burn in, only at managers discretion.

Microcenter warranty with screen protection covers any screen damage including accidental.

That's why I said "if you don't care about integrity."

There are more than a few posts around of people "dropping" their TV when they have burn-in and returning for another unit. And when Microcenter doesn't have a replacement, they cut you a check for the purchase price.
