I have a couple Crescent knives I bought at Lowes a couple years ago, 2-packs on sale before Christmas. I carry one in my work truck in and one in my personal truck every day. They won't win you any knife nerd awards but I like them because they open very easily (a functional finger flipper is a must for me), have stayed sharp, and feel good in the hand. YMMV of course, and this isn't the hardest or most durable steel, but I think these are worth the price and are all the knife I really need.
