Boost amended their tos in January saying that if you buy one of these discounted phones and perform an unauthorized unlock they reserve the right to charge you full price for the phone.
I know they've attempted to charge full price for people who didn't activate the phone within 30 days....but have they ever tried to charge full price after one of these unlocks?

Someone on Reddit sent me a chat and stated that he found someone who could unlock it. I really couldn't discern whether or not it was a scam, so I passed on giving it a try.
