Last fall I tried the mid-sized version of these shoes, which I think had waterproof in the title/name. They definitely did not feel wide, and I ended up sending them back. Because Columbia charges for return shipping, I'm not willing to take another chance on similar shoes from them.

Arrived today. They feel comfortable and to size. Definitely more of a summer boot than anticipated and feels lighter vs my last hiking boot from north face. I may need another boot for wetter walks. Keeping these boots though. Hopefully those boots will be more airy for the summer vs pushing through with an all season boot that is less airy for summer

Got these few days back. Bought 1/2 size more than standard per several reviews and after trying this brand in local stores. Had no issues light trail walking / hiking so far. Good grip on rocks etc. However for normal day to day walking/ running they are not recommended ,not made for it. For those looking for lot of cushion insoles, this is not their shoe. After placing order, they changed the ship date, talked to customer rep and he offered expedited shipping. Returns are free at Columbia stores and their outlet only, else pay flat $6 extra (i think).
