Ours lost connection after about three years, essentially becoming useless. According to the internet, this js apparently a common issue, and sadly, Eufy won't replace it.

What's the general useful life of a floodlight camera? 3 yrs seems average
Hate to say it, but ring floodlight cams seem solid. Been running it for 5 years now. Been solid. Paying for monitoring sucks though.
Makes the wyze floodlight seem like a bargain. But the app sucks when trying to scrub time-line. Sooooo slow. Ring kicks it butt here as well.
Installing these things aren't super easy. Ladders, breakers, adding to wifi, setting up the app and such are involved. So quality, even paying a premium, is worth it to not have to repeat the "steep startup cost" of replacing.
All I want is a camera that can record locally and give me alerts that is easy to scrub through. Was told eufy was good at this, but not with the comments here. Not interested in swapping every couple years.
Maybe I'll go unifi and hard wire it all to be done once and for all.

We got ours in 2021. One (out of three) has given up so far. I was hoping to get at least 5 years out of them. After all, they are $300 MSRP
