Hyundai is offering Ioniq 5 SEL AWD 2 year lease for $225 per month and $225 down in Colorado. States without additional EV tax credit will likely be a little higher but you can probably talk them down even more. I got them down to $6k total price for a 2 year lease including all taxes and fees as well as an additional $2k of no charge options/accessories or protection/warranty plans. I also had a quote for a RWD for $4300 all-in.

They really seem to be desperate to get rid of them. I got to the point in negotiating that they literally couldn't lower the price of the car anymore because it made the residual higher than what I would owe on the car which meant Hyundai would've had to pay me to lease the car, which is how I ended up with the extra $2k in options. It also includes 2 free years of charging on the Electrify America network.

The Hyundai website says the offer ends April 30, but I'm guessing they will extend it.

Edit to add copy of final paperwork numbers. Deal was at Schomp Hyundai in Denver but had similar offers from Phil Long Hyundai Chapel Hills in Colorado Springs and McDonald Hyundai in Denver.

Google AI says: "Yes, lenders can consider immigration status when underwriting loans, and visa holders may be considered more risky than citizens. This is because immigration status can correlate with national origin, which is protected under the Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA). Lenders can consider immigration status to assess their rights or remedies to recover funds, or if otherwise required to comply with other laws. For example, if a visa expires and the borrower must leave the country, the lender would be unable to recover the balance due on a loan."
I chose to do a 1 pay lease and just pay everything at signing. I also had offers for roughly the same total price with $0 down $254 per month, $1k down $207 per month, and $2k down $161 per month. Admittedly those are slightly better than the $6k upfront but they didn't come with the extra $2k in options which I chose to use on lease end protection and tire/wheel protection

do you know were people able to replicate Ioniq 5 lease in Texas? If they do, which dealerships?

Honestly leasehackr is going to be a better resource for datapoints. You could take the contract in the OP and send that to your local dealers for them to match.

Yep, electric is really going downhill these days quickly. Will be surprised to see EVs last much longer. Even the charging networks are falling apart too.

Thank goodness many of us stuck with gas all this time.

They are doing fine. I bought two EVs in the last two years and love them.

So this is Colorado specific bc of credits available? What's the equivalent price in Cali and is that as good of a deal? Trying to figure out which electric to get: model y, ev9, ioniq5 or wait for tonight 7?

CA baseline pricing is $6k one-pay for 12,000 miles/year, 24-month lease, RWD SEL. Some have paid below, many above.

You obviously do not understand this deal or how the lease works.

Make sure you have tier 1 credit 740+
also yeah you wont get even close to 330 a month with 0 down

people in colorado wont even get 225 with 225 down. This is not a slick deal especially if the car is lacking options compared to the limited and also compared to the 2025 that will be released a few months away with huge upgrades

Okay so you're just moving the goalpost now?

This isn't an Amazon deal where you just add it to cart and check out. You're leasing a car from a dealership, which requires legwork. Many were able to replicate and OP even posted their contract.

Do you mean one payment?

Yes I did one payment, but had offers for the same total price with $0 down. You can see those offers on the last pic in the post. I went with the 1 payment offer bc they added $2k in warranty plans for free too

are you talking about 10500 for taxes/fees? My take rate is 5.13% so what was your final lease payment/month on 12k miles 24 months lease

Final payment was $6k down and $0 per month. All the numbers and the breakdown are included in the pictures with the post. The last picture is another offer I had for different money down options.

When I first contacted one of the dealers, they gave me a quote for $3000 down and $309 per month (for a total of about $10,500) which they said was what the $225 down $225 per month offer was equal to once you added in taxes and fees. After asking around at a few other dealers and getting lower offers, this one eventually came down to $0 down, $258 per month. So in the end I had 3 different dealers all offering right around $6k all-in. I have no idea if the interest from this post has caused enough demand to make them raise their prices, but it sounds like at least some people were able to replicate. At any rate, that's why I waited to post it until I had the car in my possession 😄

You are saying you got 0 down and 258 a month for a SEL?
That is impossible. Stop misleading because to get that low you need no dealer handling fee, another 500 off and about 5k down all in for no payments. No one has any left they are all in transit and this ends April 30th.

Also makes no sense after you taxes and fees involved. The payment are about 300 to 330 with no money down
