When added to cart, the blower with 2 battery kit gets reduced to $213.07 and the free extra battery gets reduced to $115.93 for a combined total of $329. So if the free battery is returned, then the total paid for the blower kit should be the $213.07 plus taxes.
$164 for the blower kit + $94 for the free battery plus tax = $280 for me out the door.
Hard to justify when last month you coulda got two of these blowers and an additional battery for the same price.
I mean, most people don't really need two blowers. It's the batteries that you can use multiple of. Unless you're saying that you could get all of this for half the price.

It was two blowers and 4 batteries for the same price as this

What did not make sense of that buy one blower + 2 4 Ah batteries get one free, really $330 total, was that it was two retails boxes so why Home Depot did not discount them and sell as individual blowers and make more money is beyond me.
Also to note, in my experience these chargers do work well but of the 3 I've had none will charge a completely dead battery, it just sits there like no battery is plugged in. I have to rely on the entry level charger for that should I not pay attention and run it completely down. There seems to have to be some charge on the battery for it to work.
I noticed that on the faster chargers they need to wait for the battery to cool down quite a bit before charging. I suspect it has something to do with not setting fire to your home...
Most of you saying shorter battery time. Can someone say how long the 4ah lasts?
Home Depot website states this blower uses 320whr. That puts it a 8ah.
Ryobi website indicates the blower can run 60mins on low with one 40V battery, or 15 mins on high.
If it's really using up 320whr, I'd expect it to last much less than advertised.
If ryobi website is correct, I'd still expect it to last less than advertised . Those should give you a ballpark number on how long it could last.

Thanks. Repped.
Edit: if the included batteries are 4Ah, then wouldnt the runtime be halved? Like 30 mins per 4Ah battery on low?

Must be a regional price difference then because I get the same $329 combined price as the OP.

Shorter battery life, not as much raw power. But comes with 2 batteries and is much quieter. So what's important to you? I have this and it's great.
