It isn't. This one has 128gb storage and 8gb ram while metro one is 64gb and 4gb ram. Extra ram is very critical for smooth experience because 4gb is not enough for fluid operation. And it's not $50, it's $70 with the mandatory plan.

My kids have the S6 lite and it has a great screen. With the TFT screen, Samsung is trying to achieve a higher refresh rate. It's too bad viewing angles are narrow. If you're sitting down you have to hold it at a particular angle. If it's on the table you can't move too much to the left or the right and have to have it resting at a particular angle. Otherwise, the screen washes out.
I think the value of the LincPlus T3 is hard to beat. It's basically identical to the A9+ 8GB/128GB under the hood. There are some minor software quirks that probably won't be addressed given the nature of the company behind the product, but at $110+tax it's hard to beat. I went with the A9+ only because I got it at the $175+tax price and the value was subjectively comparable to the T3 when considering the software updates that *should* be on the A9+'s roadmap.

There is nothng in the OS... so to wake up your tablet you need to hit the power button and then you need to input a security code.
The cameras are petty good. My kid loves doing videos and editing them and we do this on this tablet.
