I got one set this afternoon with zip code 94080, but now it is OOS. Good deals run out fast, just like those gold bars deal, I could never get one.

This deal is bonkers.
Which zip code ?
What is also nice about the LG washers is the door has a light stop when closing it. Keeps it open about 3/4 inch. Perfect to let it dry out after each load. After 1.5 years zero smells or mildew.
I read the Yale Appliance blog. Here is their most reliable washers for 2024 blog post.

They rely on their service department numbers which they are doing between 35,000 and 40,000 device calls a year.
LG is their second most reliable.
Link goes to page not found for me…would love to see the article.
Also OOS for me too…bummer.
Is the Electric available at any location at all? None near me in Texas, could I get store delivery and install myself if it exists somewhere?
Absolutely
Nope, they won't ship to store from across the country.

I'd suggest you buy bulky items when you have the exact date and place you want them. Deals come and go but storage cost / damage during transportation and eating into warranty period completely when you have not started to use can make your jaws drop. Been there done that. Rather, buy then call the customer service and arrange a delivery in August if you are confident about closing date. Most websites do not allow delivery date beyond a month.
Is this an amazing deal? Yes, if there is stock. Is Samsung better? Not by much. Can Korean manufacturers have lemon products? Not experienced lemon products myself but I am more concerned that there are some other household major brands that are fundamentally designed to tear your clothes (I would think unintentionally!), like how teenagers can punch hole in the drywall to show how strong they are. Did I stop losing shirt collars to flowering threads from unnecessarily high powered washers when I started using Korean washing machine? Yes. Are American manufacturer dryers better? On par would be correct term, Korean manufacturers have less experience in making dryers in general but isn't some crazy technology that they cannot catch up to. Is gas dryer better than electric? Yes, but nobody uses elec dryer if gas dryer is an option. Why do I know so much about washers and dryers? I lived a nomad life renting one house to another, got forced to try nearly every shape and brand in the washer and dryer market before settling down into my own abode. Twenty years of experience is a lot of empirical data. Believe it or not I settled down because of a lot of reasons but one of them being that I want to use a particular brand of washer and dryer.
