Some brands & models have had problems with interior tubing/rubber used for filling and draining water. Failures of the actual tub holding the wash water are very rare.
Overall, they're pretty safe today, but AS ALWAYS don't start up washer, dryer, dishwasher, and go off to work, vacation, dinner, etc. Murphy is always out there...waiting.
>>>HATE MY LG APPLIANCES!!! I will never buy another LG appliance. My washer leaked from day one. Had warranty out here....
In contrast my LG washer has held up fine for about 14 years, ditto for what are supposed to be problematic compressors on my LG fridge. IMNSHO if repair guy can't find & fix leak (a) he's incompetent, or (b) it's a design defect.
You should have pursued this until washer was either fixed, or replaced..... or fully refunded!!

Top load with agitator is more reliable and washes better.
Lol. Thank you. I've been trolled a bunch for even asking this question. I have no hate for front loads I've just never owned one. So I was legitimately asking a serious question. Hell the top load I have now I've had for 12 yrs.
Top load is also way easier to work on. I'll never own a front loader.
Can you please let me know how you got the price adjustment? I filled the price adjustment form at Costco app yesterday and still waiting to hear back. Thank you in advance

I did it throw the app too, and it took about 3 days
