Sure, look for the optical versions of the following 2, for example:

Past Keychron K6 sale was $47.90 after shipping, so you're saving $2.91. Better than nothing, if you're fine with Blue (clicky) switches

$45, Gateron mechanical Blues, not sure about the shipping cost (?)

IMHO, not worth it in 2024 - go for dust-proof 10^8-click opticals for the same money or less.

I personally prefer wired solutions whenever possible, but agree - there might be situations, when cordless (with their inevitably increased signal transmission latency and batteries unpredictably dying just before the important deadline LMAO) devices are the only way to go.

Please have a look at the following wireless optical kb offers and share with us your opinion:

Important disclaimer: I'm an old school, and while I did not try them all (not even half, as of yet), I was forced to use the Lexington-made original Model M back in middle 1990-s, and had a chance to use a Topre-based HH kb in late 1990-s and ALPS-based original "Granite" kb of some early SGI Indy in the same decade. Then I realized, that for me personally, nothing is better than IBM-manufactured soft membrane kb (frequently supplied with the various Unix-workstations of the day).

Back to your question:

https://www.amazon.com/Mechanical...B0CQC45KYT

https://www.amazon.com/Wireless-M...B0BGH6MP4B

https://www.amazon.com/MageGee-Wi...B0BZ43QNGZ (offers 20% coupon as of typing this)

https://www.amazon.com/Fogruaden-...B0BS8D6VV5 ($54, but offers 10% coupon, which makes it <$50 as you requested)

And, especially, current LTD wireless with Optical Red Switches for $25:
https://www.amazon.com/Ractous-Me...B099RMR8PR (can Keychron meet this?)

I've had a k2 for 4+ years and it's a fabulous keyboard. great reliability, longevity . Build quality and keycaps are at the $150+ level. Keychron has great documentation, firmware upgrades and support.

I've bought enthusiast keyboards for $300+ that ended up becoming bricks because of lack of proper support. Keep that in mind.

Have people been giving Razer peripherals praise? Aside from their mice (which personally I still think are overpriced), I haven't heard of anyone aside from teenagers saying Razer is good.

I must have forgotten to add "/s" - early RaZer was reasonably good (when they were an underdog), then in 2013(?) they switched from CherryMX to Kailh and, you know, teenagers may still like it, but literally yesterday, when I stopped by the local BB the floor associate there told me not to buy anything RaZer (when I was checking their SteelSeries and Corsair kbs on that gaming shelf)...

I thought it was sarcasm, but honestly you never know nowadays.

I have absolutely loved my Corsair K60 Vengeance and wish they still made it, but after getting the Keychron C3 Pro from the other day and I haven't really looked back. The keys feel absolutely great to type on, PBT feels better than ABS, and the dampening foam helps take the sharpness of the keys out. The only plus my K60 has over the C3 Pro is the 10 key and the volume knob.
