Eastern MN? That's a little vague, no lol?! Too late, I suppose. Did you at least score one?
I added in a follow up post it was the area from Stillwater down to Inver Grove Heights. Target app still shows they have some but others are saying they're out 😔
So I'm on w CS now. They are offering me 20% off a 77 for the staff messing up the sale? Should I go for it or wait it out to go on clearance?
I was able to talk them up to 25% (V begrudgingly) so it'll be about $1,800 plus tax on the 77 c3.
I want to grab it. But I'll be super pissed if it goes on clearance right after I buy it.
I visited the Levittown NY store this morning. The website said they had four in stock, but when I arrived, there was only the display model and one model in the box on the floor. The sales associate said that's all they have and there are no others available.
The signs for the 65 inch said "clearance $1,399". I asked the associate to scan the price to see if it would update. He pulled out a phone looking device and said that the price is still $1399. I politely asked to see a manager. The manager came over and explained that their clearance price cycles are different at each store, so the price might be updated later on. I explained that there is almost no stock left and I cannot come back at a later time because they will sell out. The manager then got out a different scan tool and checked the pricing again, and finally confirmed that it is showing up as $999. I purchased it on the spot.
So if you go to a target, and the price is not updating, be very polite and courteous with the staff, but insist that a manager use the correct inventory scan tool to check the current clearance price of this item. I told the manager that my "friend" (you guys) at another target had this issue with the price not updating and had to get a manager to update it. That seemed to help the credibility of what I was asking. Good luck out there!
I was there at 2PM. You beat me by a couple hours. If you decide you don't want it I'll buy it from you . I got a 55 inch as well if you're interested
Agreed but the friend says you can buy it now... then go back to the store and "return and re-buy" for the further discounted price... seems shady to me but apparently Target is nice like that?
Which store was this? I struck out in Fremont and San Jose.. they wouldn't even sell the display model
I also checked all San Jose + Sunnyvale stores yesterday and Livermore today (online claims they have 5, but their inventory is wrong). Curious if anyone in the Bay Area has a receipt that we can attempt to price match with BB.
65" is 54.76% larger diagonal, 139.51% larger total area
Thats not thw only difference anything under 55" for this particular model has lower dim. So I recommend 55" or higher unless you are intending to use the 42" as your monitor on your desk.
