Beats crippled them with their shady business relationship.
Having not paid much attention to them lately, I was blown away to see the company that used to make its hay with >$100 HDMI cables now selling a bluetooth speaker for <$10

Yeah, the Beats deal hit them hard, but then it also seems like they've been throwing money into a protracted legal battle against Beats for a LONG time. Might have put the last nail in their own coffin by not just moving on.

Don't get this. Just don't.
Tinny speakers, flat and weak-ish volume for the 'specs'.
Maybe for someone who doesn't want an ounce of 'bass', sure.
Otherwise, pay a bit more and get a cheap Soundcore/etc. for a solid budget portable. Ended up giving this to a family member's kiddo (as they weren't picky) - I was one of those guys who spent a lot on Monster Cables back in the day (car stereo installs) and was always happy with the brand. This was my first non-cable product from them and, no. Nopitty nope.

Agree, just got mine today and the volume output is horrible
Received mine today. The quality seems good and sounds okay, definitely louder than a standard 5w speaker. But even though it has multiple speakers inside, the sound is only mono.
For only 10 bucks, I don't think you could do much better. I will keep mine.
