I would agree the previous models had horrible reviews/issues. However the newer models to appear to have corrected some of the previous issues. I still plan to wait a little bit before I pull trigger on a newer model. I think the biggest issue remains is with the 10 amp battery.

That's the brand new model. The clearence pricing is on the old models.
It's technically 40v (36v) because it needs two batteries to run. However they just came out with completey redesigned 20v (40v) models & brand new 60v Flexvolt models.
