I went to my local target hoping to find a LG C3 65" or 55". Sold out. However they just marked down the 42" to $359.99. Thats 70% off. I bought two. There were plenty of more. Big in store only YMMV!

Had an interesting experience at the Target in Eagle Rock, a neighborhood of Los Angeles. I figured no way I'd get the deal because I never get these deals, but I saw the Eagle Rock Target showed 7 in stock around 10am today. Everywhere else said OOS. I didn't believe it but looked an hour later and it showed 5. I thought, oh wow, that could mean they actually have some and are selling at the clearance price. Being 15 min away, I figured worth a shot, so I jumped in my car and raced over there.
Two nice guys were waiting in the TV area. I asked if they were there for the C3. They said yeah and that the employee was getting them from the back! She rolled up with five on a cart and asked if I wanted one! I was shocked. The first guy bought two. The second guy bought one. I bought one, and a young guy showed up after me to get the last one. I almost bought two but when the younger guy showed up, figured I'd share the love.
Turns out, others had shown up earlier in the day but were turned away because the employees didn't think they had any. I happened to show up after they found them. Took them awhile to bring them up so must have been stored in some corner somewhere in their warehouse.
This is the first YMMV deal I've ever been fortunate enough to snag and my first ever 4K display so am very appreciative! Congrats to those who also found one and good luck to those still trying!
Enjoy your new OLED TV! I was the other guy waiting in line at Eagle Rock earlier today.
Found one, but was informed Target clearance prices are location specific based on stock available. They do not match clearance prices for other stores.

My employee said the same about but I asked them to keep looking and explained what is happening and so they did again and new price popped up so I'd wait it out and maybe ask another person/manager to check for you. Good luck!
I asked nicely so they called management to see what they could do. Apparently the manager dealt with this "issue" earlier and was like no we aren't going to do anything.
I literally have one in my hands right now, but it's scanning at the $800 price. Asked one worker already and he said his scanner is up to date unfortunately.
Where are you located? I can share my receipt and you can show it to them. Maybe it will help
It defeats the purpose, especially if they only have one in stock.
Again: cardinal rule of SD….Do. Not. Call.
Welcome.
according to target website the store says 1 left in stock. however this stores are that show 1 are in average 35 miles away from my house. California gas ist at 6.50 a gallon average or even highter. Just saying this is the reason I'm calling.

The stock availability online is pretty accurate imo. I bought the last one my store. As soon as I paid for it, it updated to out of stock online. My be worth the gamble.
Thanks for this info, but man I feel uncomfortable telling the folks what to do like I'm there boss.
Totally understand. It might be a matter of continually checking until the price change gets processed. They're required to be done each week and few people know how.
Edit: unfortunately some employees, managers will avoid marking down until the last day possible if they believe they can sell at a higher price
Shit. I've never heard of a clearance price that doesn't show up in the scanner and can be pushed though D: I was at my Target this morning and scanned the 42" C3 and it came up as $830... Went ahead and bought a 65" and 55" instead. RIP.
As mentioned previously, it depends on when the person responsible for the price changes gets around to it.

Yes found this out yesterday when I went looking for the 65" for $1000. Local Target had it for $1399.

Not true for any games on clearance
Click on "View in Target" , "check stores" under the TV and finally enter your zip code. It will show availability in any near store.
BE QUICK!!!! Good luck 🤞🏻
Went to one target that had 1 and it had it in stock.
Using the stock system is hit or miss, so far I'm 2 for 3.
