I went to my local target hoping to find a LG C3 65" or 55". Sold out. However they just marked down the 42" to $359.99. Thats 70% off. I bought two. There were plenty of more. Big in store only YMMV!

Had an interesting experience at the Target in Eagle Rock, a neighborhood of Los Angeles. I figured no way I'd get the deal because I never get these deals, but I saw the Eagle Rock Target showed 7 in stock around 10am today. Everywhere else said OOS. I didn't believe it but looked an hour later and it showed 5. I thought, oh wow, that could mean they actually have some and are selling at the clearance price. Being 15 min away, I figured worth a shot, so I jumped in my car and raced over there.
Two nice guys were waiting in the TV area. I asked if they were there for the C3. They said yeah and that the employee was getting them from the back! She rolled up with five on a cart and asked if I wanted one! I was shocked. The first guy bought two. The second guy bought one. I bought one, and a young guy showed up after me to get the last one. I almost bought two but when the younger guy showed up, figured I'd share the love.
Turns out, others had shown up earlier in the day but were turned away because the employees didn't think they had any. I happened to show up after they found them. Took them awhile to bring them up so must have been stored in some corner somewhere in their warehouse.
This is the first YMMV deal I've ever been fortunate enough to snag and my first ever 4K display so am very appreciative! Congrats to those who also found one and good luck to those still trying!
Enjoy your new OLED TV! I was the other guy waiting in line at Eagle Rock earlier today.
Found one, but was informed Target clearance prices are location specific based on stock available. They do not match clearance prices for other stores.

Got one in Arizona! Long shot, but went to the 3 Targets & able to snag a clearanced 42" C3. Planned my to use it as a Xbox Series X gaming TVā¦.Thanks OP
Are you guys having them ring up the TV to check price? I just looked at my local store and they have it but sign says $829. Didn't ask anyone to try to ring it up though

Take it to a scanner and check it or have one of the employees check it
If you see one of those inventory tags on it (white with black writing) you can pull the strip off and scan that instead of taking the tv to the scanner
Was able to obtain a 65" and 42" at these clearance prices. The 42" didn't initially ring up on sale. After discussing with manager, they were able to "activate" clearance price on their end and print off new sticker. That worked right away. Hope it helps!
I tried about 10 Seattle area stores, all were at $899...
You really drove around to 10 different stores in the Seattle area? Did they even have any stock for the 42"? I put in the zip code for Seattle and the Target website says all the stores are out of stock within 50 miles.
