I went to my local target hoping to find a LG C3 65" or 55". Sold out. However they just marked down the 42" to $359.99. Thats 70% off. I bought two. There were plenty of more. Big in store only YMMV!

Had an interesting experience at the Target in Eagle Rock, a neighborhood of Los Angeles. I figured no way I'd get the deal because I never get these deals, but I saw the Eagle Rock Target showed 7 in stock around 10am today. Everywhere else said OOS. I didn't believe it but looked an hour later and it showed 5. I thought, oh wow, that could mean they actually have some and are selling at the clearance price. Being 15 min away, I figured worth a shot, so I jumped in my car and raced over there.

Two nice guys were waiting in the TV area. I asked if they were there for the C3. They said yeah and that the employee was getting them from the back! She rolled up with five on a cart and asked if I wanted one! I was shocked. The first guy bought two. The second guy bought one. I bought one, and a young guy showed up after me to get the last one. I almost bought two but when the younger guy showed up, figured I'd share the love.

Turns out, others had shown up earlier in the day but were turned away because the employees didn't think they had any. I happened to show up after they found them. Took them awhile to bring them up so must have been stored in some corner somewhere in their warehouse.

This is the first YMMV deal I've ever been fortunate enough to snag and my first ever 4K display so am very appreciative! Congrats to those who also found one and good luck to those still trying!
Enjoy your new OLED TV! I was the other guy waiting in line at Eagle Rock earlier today.
Found one, but was informed Target clearance prices are location specific based on stock available. They do not match clearance prices for other stores.

Is there a one for rent/lease? Since everyone prefers to rent things rather than own these days? 😆

Was able to just pick up one during lunch near the bay area. It was the last one. The cashier was nice enough to go to the back and look for it.

Where? Every store had none in stock according to the app and employees.

Went to 4 stores, all no go for any of the oleds. Back of my mind is thinking about the display model with additional 30 off. It has 5,000 hours. Very tempted but i know this is a bit from frustration too.

Decided to roll the dice with the last 55" display C3 with 4700 hours and no burn-in. They had to use an unidentify code to apply the extra 30% off clearance item. The bad part is that there is no warranty or refund/return for $528.68 ($750+30% off+5% Redcard+6%tax). Where can I buy the warranty?

There was another guy who just grabbed the last 65' display model right before me with the same no warranty or refund/return.

My local store has only 55" & 65" on display for sale.
55" is for $750+ 30% off = $525 -%5 red card = $498.75

65" = $1000 discount with another 30% off display +5% off red card.

Both 55 & 65" with remote but no TV stand.

Probably not worth getting the warranty, only covers up to the purchase amount anyway, so wouldn't be able to get a replacement if anything goes wrong.

Politely bugged the guy in the tech area and he really didn't want to scan it again and said like 10 other people came in before me earlier in the day and said it was $899 and that was it.

Maybe could come back tomorrow and ask if there's different employee there but this one guy wasn't budging.
Quote from TD912 :
Was keeping an eye on it today and right before I got out of work it changed to say "No longer sold at this store" online, guess the price finally got updated and somebody bought it. Probably could have bugged the tech more but oh well. Congrats to whoever got the TV!
Update! I saw the app went back to "Limited Stock" for some weird reason so I decided to run back over today for the hell of it. The last time I was here the display price card thing was missing at my store but there was a tiny barcode placeholder for the item UPC I took a picture of.

Instead of going back to that tech guy, I went to a random price scanner near the groceries and scanned the barcode. It said "Limited Stock", "discontinued", and "In back: No". But the price was $360! I found some guy restocking keyboard and mice on the shelves in electronics and asked him to scan my barcode and to see if there were any left.

Even though the customer price checker said there was none in back, the guy's scanner found it and I think it even showed him a shelf location in the back or something. He said he would go to the back and get it and a few minutes later I had my TV on a cart ready to buy. He said I had to go up to the tech dept desk to purchase it, so I did. The first tech guy was still there and was giving me some looks, but there was another guy there that quickly checked me out. I paid with my Target card and got the 5% off.

Thanks for all the tips everyone, glad I was able to get one. This was at the Rockaway NJ store.

EDIT: I attached a pic of the barcode I used in case anyone else wants to try using the price check or asking an employee to scan.

Don't know if he actually "hid" it, because the other guy stocking shelves with the scanner found it easily and I think it might have told him which rack/shelf it was on in the back. The first tech guy said he scanned it earlier in the day iirc he said it was there but it was $899. Maybe the price didn't update yet and he was just lazy and didn't want to be bothered to scan it again in the afternoon after being asked a bunch of times. Hanlon's razor and whatnot. 🤷

Gotcha. Went to a target a couple days ago said that it had 1 instock on the app/website the csr Went to the back and said it wasn't there. Today saw the same store on app said it was unavailable. Makes me wonder.

Thanks m8, for your input. 100% agree, it is not worth getting the warranty!
