The body of the LT1 is a Q8 body. They are interchangeable. You can thread it into a Q8 head if you have one.

Interesting! I didn't know that. I figured they would be different, since the LT1 takes 18650's and the Q8 21700's, which are slightly fatter and longer. But with the "more" on the Q8 than the SC33 I really meant lumens. Still a lantern mode with the diffuser but also a LOT more lumens on the high side.

No. This is the best lantern on the market of its type. Nothing else comes even close (although the Lumintop isn't horrible). This has Anduril 2.0.

You also can use as few as a single battery in either.

Q8 Pro, not Plus. The lantern and Q8 Pro use the same 4x18650 base, and are interchangeable. The Q8 Plus, that uses 3x21700 is larger (and not interchangeable).
