Had it for a few months now. R10 is unable to track slice/hook or draw/fade. Fun toy.

Uh, yours is broken then or needs an update. Had it since Day 1 and it does all that

I think you need a subscription to access a lot of the data. I hate that type of thing.

Only need subscription to play courses, get all the data you want in their app on the free ranges

Do you need cell phone data to use at the range?

No. Can preload courses and use without data

I've used this in my golf simulator (GSPro) for a year now and it's definitely a good buy. The distances are fairly accurate (within a few yards). The only issue I've had is that the side spin numbers aren't as accurate. While it does pick up a slice and hook, it's less dramatic than on the course. This is a RADAR based system so it is prone to some interference...it doesn't like uncovered metal and concrete surfaces. The only other unit at this price point is the MLM2 Pro. While the unit itself is decent (minus the connection issues), it's fairly useless unless you pay for the yearly subscription. I would definitely buy again.

Tried this and the MLM 2 Pro. Picked MLM as the end. This one has a hard time picking up rubber balls and not accurate at all

Rubber balls? What?

Any experience using this on a driving range (my range uses Titleist practice balls)?

Can't really recommend any launch monitor that doesn't measure side spin and spin axis. Without those, you could just get a swing speed radar and print out a ball speed & distance chart for a lot less money.

Mlm2 is a better option IF shot shaping matters, but on a budget, r10 is fine if you use at the range or have no interference at home.

I've had one for almost 2 years. I used it inside my garage in an indoor setup and also at outdoor ranges. At one time I thought it was better than nothing, but I've not used it in quite a while and really haven't missed its miss-information. So maybe it isn't better than nothing. An example would be it would tell me my swing path was outside in where the video would clearly show it was inside-out. The one thing it's good for is to trigger and replay video of your swing. That's about all I used if for after a while. I also used the Titlest tracker balls. That didn't help either.

Yours gives sidespin data? If not, then how is it tracking slice/hook?
