Here's a fishing deal for the high end gear junkies. American Legacy Fishing has this specific model of NRX + G. Loomis Rod for 40% off:
G. Loomis NRX+ Spin Jig Spinning Rod 782S SJR 6'6" Medium
$375 is still a lot for a rod, I know - but compared to the retail price of $625 it's a bargain! This kind of sale on a new G. Loomis NRX Plus rod is pretty unheard of.
The deal is even sweeter if you're a member of their Legacy Elite program, as you'll earn 10% cash back ($37) in reward points that can be used towards future purchases.
I don't own this specific model, but I own a couple of other NRX + rods in both spinning and casting and they are amazing rods. This would make an amazing finesse rod for smaller jigs, neds, or even a drop shot.

Keep watching. Over the last two weeks there seem to be a few hours here and there each day where all Loomis is on sale. I ordered a GCX last Friday for $195. Still hasn't shipped though. Some Shimano has also been marked down - like the Vanford deal that was posted.
Been seeing that about once a day for the last week or a little longer.
I'd like to keep looking, but for the sake of my finances, I better stop paying attention to their sales!

Haha! And I thought I was going to be in trouble….. Good luck fishing and nice score!
I have an older E6x drop shot rod and it's my favorite. Prefer it to my dobyns Sierra and Champion xp. Can only imagine the NRX or anything at that price point.
Just don't see these on sale too often. I think they did have all of their Loomis on sale for Black Friday this year.
Also a lot of personal preference in rods too. I have a couple Zodias casting rods and for me they seem more like a $100 rod and not $200. Know plenty of guys that love them though.

I have that same e6 dsr! It's in backup mode now, I upgraded to a Steez Finesse Game Special. I didn't want to give it up though, landed a lot of fish on it!
